As the President and Executive Director of the nation's largest senior olympic-style program,
I well understand how seriously athletes 55 and better embark in competition.  For the State Finals Golf Tournament, we rely upon the Village Inn Golf and Conference Center to provide

I had the pleasure of staying at your establishment last year for the North Carolina State Association convention. I serve as the State President of this Association. Prior to the
convention, the state planners, my administrative assistant and I met with your staff to
discuss the logistics of our convention. I found your staff to be very warm and they had a willingness to help to ensure that our convention ran smoothly. I was impressed with how
they handled our members as they checked into the hotel, they to the complaints of our
members with a smile and never complained.

That action alone, spoke volumes to me and my staff. It is not easy to hale a large crowd
with so many different personalities and attitudes, but your staff did it with grace and dignity.
I applauded them for their professional workmanship.

I was proud to have the National Active Exalted Rulers Council Conference held here at
the Village Inn. I brought this conference here largely because of the great treatment we
received in May 2008.

I want to thank the Village Inn Golf and Conference Center staff for doing a wonderful job in making us feel welcome and at home for that week. Thanks for accommodating us in a professional matter.
