I just wanted to write and thank you again for everything that you did for our group. Booking our group block at the Village Inn was probably the best decision I made for my wedding! The rooms were very clean, comfortable and nice and we really felt like the staff went above and beyond in accommodating us throughout the weekend. We loved the pool, the hotel bar, and the breakfast. I really could not recommend the Village Inn more highly for a wedding or family reunion!
~K. McKee (6/10/14)
The overall stay was GREAT! I wish that my family and I could have gotten here earlier (Friday) so that we could experience the full effect. The room was neat and the shower in the bathroom was like “a little piece of Heaven!!” I stayed in for at least 30 minutes!! Friendly staff and the lobby , pool area, dining room and even the outside was neatly groomed. This has been one of the best places we stayed in a long time, and I look forward to visiting again. Great Job Village Inn! 2 Thumbs Up!

Happy New Year !!
I wanted to take a moment to say what a great time I had at the Village Inn Event Center NYE Celebration Party. The venue was perfect, the guest crowd was delightful to be among. The elegance of the ballroom setup, the display & assortment of food items, the bar service, the 2 live bands and the DJ…. all were superb !! Kudos to Lana Schlotfeldt and the staff (Delacey & Kim to name a few) for all of their hard work and preparation to make the evening a complete success!
I am sure that there were many long hour days without pay, use of their own personal time to plan, set up, and deliver the perfect evening for your guests to enjoy. I can assure you, the smiles were plentiful and continuous throughout the night. Second to the party itself, was surprising my love (Amy) with the opulence and comfort of an overnight in Room 200. I have to Thank Lana, once again for her role in making the possibility become the reality. When it comes to Customer Care, Event Planning, and giving 150% of herself; you have a real gem with Lana.
While I cannot speak for all of your guests, I can tell that you that Amy & I had a very memorable New Year’s Eve, and are most appreciative of everyone’s efforts that went into making it a night to long remember! Best Wishes for a Happy & Prosperous 2014,
~ Frank & Amy (1/2/2014)
Dr. Coble and I wanted to thank you for a wonderful day yesterday. Everything was beautifully handled, the food was perfect (best ever) and the superintendents were pleased. It was brilliant of you to move us to the North room to avoid all the noise/confusion of the setup for your evening event. The lunch setup was also beautifully done, and everyone enjoyed the meal. Please share with your staff that everything went very smoothly and we are most grateful for everyone’s help in making this important session go so smoothly. I am also grateful for the afternoon snack you were able to provide at the last minute. I apologize for not making arrangements for that sooner, but I had no idea that we would need one. It worked out perfectly and made a great end to the day.

Our company has held an annual four day training event at the Village Inn Event Center for several years. Things are so great, it is now a semi-annual event. The Event Center and staff are wonderful. The staff couldn't be more help. If you asked for it, they'll make it happen; management, front desk clerks, chefs, housekeeping, etc. Lodging rooms have been renovated to please the upscale traveler. The pillows and bedding are to die for! The Event Center is just off of the interstate and within walking distance to a major chain store, restaurants, etc; however, it remains quite. These people are GREAT!

Thanks again for all your help in making Liddy’s wedding reception and our stay at the Village Inn Event Center memorable/delicious/enjoyable. We head nothing but compliments on the food & accommodations. We can’t thank you enough for letting us come in on Friday and clean up on Sunday! The crew had consolidated all our decorations in one place and made it so easy for us to pack up. We look forward to our next event with you! I would like to have a copy of the itemized bill---just another souvenir! And I might show it to Kirby since we did not kill our budget,
~ T. Matthews (Jan 2013)
You are simply awesome!

Lana, First I wanted to thank you and your staff for all the hard work at our daughter’s wedding reception (December 22, 2012). Everyone has bragged on the food and it was truly delicious. Out of town guests were please with their rooms. Friends have asked if we would use your facility again and we have given them a definite yes. Thank you so much.
~ L. Hicks
"My experience here...wow where do I begin!! The staff was absolutely wonderful!! From the beginning to the end, everything went smooth. The Crystal Ballroom was just right for our reception, and I am still getting compliments from my guest about how beautiful the room is, and the convenience of having both the ceremony and reception in one location. The food was delicious, and I am trying to find an excuse to hold another event there...lol! The hotel rooms where just right for all of the wedding party to get dressed and my husband and I absolutely loved the suite that we stayed in. My wedding day was so much more than I could have ever imagined. Thank you to Beth and all the staff at the Village Inn Event Center!!"

"Cancer Services, Inc. has used the Village Inn Event Center... for over 10 years to host our annual Breast Cancer Survivor Conference. The service is great, especially in helping us exceed our client's expectations on a limited budget. Lana always goes above and beyond to make our event special and the service staff help maintain the professional feel of our event. Feedback from participants is always exceptional for all aspects, including food and location. We've never considered any other venue because of the amazing treatment we get at the Village Inn Event Center. Thank you so much for being a great partner to Cancer Services!

"...the golf coordinator did a great job … and the other hotel employees were, as always, helpful and courteous, as well as enthusiastic. I heard no complaints about the renovations to the hotel. As for next year … (we will get our) plans in early."
~ David Eversdyke
"...we did truly enjoy our stay at the Village Inn Event Center. Even if we do not have an opportunity to visit next year, I will be sure to tell all my friends about your property and encourage them to stay there whenever in Winston-Salem. Thanks again for your hospitality!"
David Horton, Jr.
"Thank you very much for a great time at your facility last week. The rooms were great and the golf was excellent. The whole group was very impressed with the (entire) trip. We will be returning next year and will be recommending your property to everyone."
"The rooms were really nice and the beds (were) really comfortable. There was a lot to see. We especially enjoyed Old Salem."
~ Bob, Pat, Wanda and Howie
"For the past 15 years or more we have had the pleasure to have been associated with the Village Inn Event Center in Clemmons. We hold a celebrity golf tournament each year benefiting The Brenner Children's Hospital and the Village Inn Event Center has been our headquarters for all of our out of town celebrities. Year in and year out the consistency and hospitality of the management, sales group and staff has made the Village Inn Event Center a home away from home for our celebrities. And with that, we have already booked our block of rooms for next year’s silver anniversary tournament."
~ Ed Bradley, Chairman of Brenner Children’s Hospital Golf Classic
"A sincere 'thank you' to all of the staff at the Village Inn Event Center.
Our company has held annual 3-day sales training sessions with our employees for many years. The past few years we have held the sessions at the Village Inn Event Center. This event has become so successful that it is now a semi-annual event.
The success of this event is due in part to the staff and the facility of the Village Inn Event Center.
I am always amazed in the way the staff meets every request. You definitely strive to please the customer.
I've said many times, 'You make me (the event coordinator) look good!'
We can hardly wait to use the newly, remodeled rooms."
~ Robin Thomas, Leonard Buildings
"I'd like to thank you and your staff for everything. We really enjoyed our wedding! I thank you for being my driver in the little golf cart, and everything else that was done. The food was wonderful! We’ve received rave reviews about the food and of course, the wedding! I just wanted to let you know that we appreciate everything!"
